Daytime skincare routine
Cleanse, apply and protect before you step out.
The morning routine has one main job: get your skin ready for the day and protect it from the sun. It takes under five minutes.
1. Rinse or cleanse
If your skin feels oily or you sweated at night, use a gentle cleanser. If it feels comfortable, a splash of water is enough. Pat dry.
2. Apply your cream
Apply a pea-sized amount of Youth Face Beauty Cream to the face and neck and let it absorb for a minute.
3. Sunscreen, every day
Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher, on the face, neck and ears. Use about two finger-lengths for the face and neck. Sunscreen matters even on cloudy days and indoors near windows.
On long days outdoors
- Reapply sunscreen every two to three hours, and after sweating heavily.
- A cap, scarf or umbrella helps more than people expect.
- Carry a small towel to blot sweat instead of rubbing.
Keep it light in humid weather
In heat and humidity, fewer, thinner layers feel better and stay put. Skip heavy creams in the morning and save extra moisture for the night.
Next: the evening routine.
